Volunteer Grant Writer - (Oviedo, FL)

We are currently seeking an intern for Grant Writing to support the organization?s services. The individual will identify, define, and develop funding sources to support existing and planned program activities, as well as coordinate the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to 3rd-party entities. The position is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on the performance of program activities that are funded by 3rd-party public and private sources. This is an internship position to be completed for course credit or general background. Responsibilities: Primary assignments include preparation of proposals and grant applications, and performance of responsible professional and administrative work in researching, identifying, developing and pursuing public and private grant opportunities in a variety of areas related to the organizations? work, including providing relief efforts for disadvantaged young adults and families who need assistance with basic human needs.
