Job DescriptionEXCITING NEW OPPORTUNITY for a part time (average twenty hours) Leasing Agent for our apartment community in Ithaca, NY. We are searching for a highly-motivated, outgoing applicant with excellent customer service and communication abilities with the expertise "to close the deal." Successful applicants should have 1+ years previous customer service, marketing background (prior apartment leasing a plus) OR be a student in a college marketing/business administration program to qualify for an internship who is willing to learn. Must be a self-starter who works well independently, is proactive and reliable, and enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of the residents. Will handle administrative duties; background with Microsoft office suite (Microsoft word, Ms excel) needed. Good business skills needed including attention to detail in reporting and expertise to multi-task with excellent time management and management expertise.
