Production Quality Manager - (Detroit, MI)

General Responsibilities The Production Quality Manager is responsible for the front-line management of the Vehicle Service Attendant work force to ensure the cleanest car at the right time. The PQM will spend much of their time directly supervising and coaching the VSA workforce. This is a hands-on leadership position and will require significant commitment to improving the quality and productivity of the hourly staff. The production quality manager will be accountable for the locations VSA productivity and cleanliness metrics. Key Result Areas: Production Manage individual VSA standard work adherence to reduce waste and to improve cycle time Create culture of accountability and sense of urgency Identify opportunities for continuous improvement Quality Ensure Hertz quality standards apply to all vehicles going to a customer Coach, Train, and Supervise all VSAs to ensure that each element of standard work is being followed
