The Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Clarkson University invites applicants to apply forthe position of Director of Clinical Education. The successful applicant will oversees the clinicalportion of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies. Assists Program Chair in the organization,administration, continuous and periodic review, planning, development and general effectiveness ofthe program. Participates in the design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of thecurriculum. Develops and maintains clinical rotation sites adequate for students' clinicallysupervised training. Regularly visits clinic rotation sites to ensure adequacy of the site for clinicaltraining. Provides guidance, training, and ongoing communication as needed for clinical preceptors.Assists in the preparation of administrative reports as requested and assigned by Program Chair. Isresponsible for the coordination and scheduling of all clinical rotations and end-of-rotationassessments.
