Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the cleaning and preparation of rooms for the hotel guest in compliance with hotel-brand standards.REQUIRED FUNCTIONS:Clean assigned rooms according to La Quinta standards and best methods. This includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpet, washing dishes and dusting furniture.Place and restock useable items in the guest room including paper items, soap, towels, etc. according to hotel standards.Clean exterior entry, hallways, and windows, according to hotel standards.Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner. Report any equipment malfunctions to the General Manager and/or Maintenance department.Assist with guest laundry completion as required.Maintain and restock housekeeping cart each day.Know hotel emergency procedures and be prepared to carry out.Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys
