Human Resources: Employment Specialist - San Pablo, California - (San Pablo, CA)

Position overview: The Employment Specialist (ES) is part of a multi-disciplinary team that helps program participants to meet their mental health and wellness goals. The ES focuses on helping participants with achieving their employment aspirations. The ES is responsible for all phases of employment service for program participants who wish to seek employment. Program participants may include transition aged youth (TAY) or teens with special circumstances including mental health disabilities, substance abuse, intellectual delay, or homelessness. The phases of employment services include: program intake, engagement, assessment, job development/job placement, job coaching, and follow-along supports. Employment Specialist develops, builds and maintains a database of employer contacts to match the participant to a position based on participant?s preferences and developmental needs.
