Essential Requirements - BA/BS degree required. 2 Yrs of work background in the areas of application/web/systems development with a related BA/BS degree. 4yrs of work background in the areas of application/web/systems development with a non-related BA/BS degree - Demonstrated proficiency with creating responsive HTML, CSS, and JavaScript using current best practices - Solid understanding of user-centered design principles - Superior written and oral communication expertise - Demonstrated implementation of accessibility best practices (e.g. ARIA, WCAG 2.0, ADA Section 508) Preferred Requirements - Demonstrated ability with best practices for web siteperformance optimization. - Understand progressive enhancement methodology - Background with a modern Web development environment (content versioning, css pre-processor, automation, etc) - Expertise to use screen reading assistive technology (e.g. JAWS, Windows Eyes, etc) to test a project for compliance with ADA Section 508/WCAG 2.0 and user background.
