At Synthetic Genomics, Inc., we are dedicated to developing and commercializing genomic-driven solutions to address global challenges. We are currently seeking an Associate Staff Scientist to join our fast-growing, dynamic and collaborative team in La Jolla, CA. SGVI is seeking an Associate Staff Scientist to join the Therapeutics R&D team within the Viral Systems Unit, which focuses on the development of novel RNA-based vaccines in the fields of emerging diseases and cancer. This position will assist in developing, performing, and interpreting in vivo characterization and immunoassays to assess the efficacy of therapeutic applicants. This job necessitates strong immunology and oncology ability with demonstrated research productivity to support the design and generation of targeted therapies. Previous background with tumor development and viral vector handling will be considered a plus.
