Summary This position applies advanced knowledge to perform professional carpentry duties for forming concrete walls, footings and slabs. Duties and Responsibilities Forms and pours footings. Secures stakes and aligns forms to grids. Straightens, plumbs and squares forms, and aligns to grid lines to construct footings. Raises forms to required elevation. Determines level of concrete in forms. Forms and pours walls. Determines best method to form the wall. Straightens, plumbs and squares wall forms, and aligns forms to grid lines to construct walls. Shoots grades on forms to required elevation. Ensures concrete is poured at correct rate and consolidated properly. Vibrates and floats concrete (16' - 20' depths). Builds and installs blockouts and embeds. Installs architectural finishes according to specifications and plans (for Interior Construction Specialists subsidiary) Installs door frames, doors and hardware, and miscellaneous trim and finish items
