Pastry Baker A Food Dance baker follows recipes, prepares and bakes as well as maintain clean/sanitary work area. This position mandates long periods of standing, walking and lifting. We are looking for motivated team players who are passionate about learning to bake at Food Dance. Our Performance Expectations are: Prepares items for baking Prepares ingredients and does set-up work - setting up boards screens, pans, and other equipment Works safely around hot ovens, heavy equipment, and sharp utensils Keeps a clean and sanitary work area Attends and participate in department huddles and company meetings The Success Patterns and Characteristics for this position are: Previous baking background a plus Comfortable standing for long periods of time Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly during an eight hour shift Comfortable with repetitive motions Willingness to be flexible with schedule Passion for great food Positive, upbeat attitude Enjoys working with a team and also independently
