Associate General Counsel/Senior Counsel - (Amarillo, TX)

Golden Spread Electric Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a highly-qualified Senior Counsel (min seven years of background) or Associate General Counsel (min twelve years of background). Primary assignments include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and advising on compliance with contracts for a broad spectrum of transactional matters in all areas necessary to support the business of electric generation and power supply by a progressive forward-looking generation and transmission electric cooperative. The job mandates background in and expert knowledge of business, commercial and contract law, including preferably in the areas of business organization, technology, property, energy, intellectual property, regulatory and other areas of the law necessary to support the business of supplying electric power and energy.
