Floor Tech - (Wilmington, DE)

Position title: Floor Tech Reports to: Director of Environmental Services and/or Facilities Director FLSA Status: Non-exempt Hours: Vary SUMMARY Responsible for the cleanliness and servicing building. Performs basic maintains on the facility and building grounds. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Dust /damp mop floors, baseboards, rooms, stairways, utility rooms, bathrooms, and corridors in assigned areas. Strips, scrubs, refinishes and burnish floor surfaces assigned. Collects medical waste and general trash from holding areas. Transports and places material in the containers for Waste Disposal Contractor it up. Clean stairways, stairwells, walls and interior portions of building entrances. Removes gum and other foreign substances from surfaces and fixtures. Removes dirt, scuff marks, and build-up from floor using appropriate techniques. Applies stripper, sealer, and finishes to floors.
