Quality Engineer - (Fairburn, GA)

This position is in a 3PL (3rd-Party Logistics) warehouse facility in Fairburn, GA. Responsibilities: Review suspected nonconforming material against design data to confirm or refute non conformance. Initiate re-inspection requests for confirmed nonconforming material when populations are suspect. Initiate discrepancy reports for confirmed nonconforming material. Provide training and guidance to 3PL Inspectors. Act as liaison between the 3PL and Quality teams. Collect and analyze data. Audit the distribution center Quality System processes and testing logs. Assign and follow up on corrective action requests for audit findings and quality system escapes. Work with teams to perform root cause analysis, and determine effective corrective action for any confirmed quality system escapes. Perform customer review and approval of corrective actions taken by 3PL supplier. Work with teams to evaluate and improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
