VP, Logistics - (Tulsa, OK)

Asset-based logistics provider offering solutions that enhance the max level of capacity for their customers. This position is responsible for the development of a major non-asset freight brokerage business for the organization. Current revenues exceed $70M in revenue with 6 locations and over 160 employees. Develops a plan for profitable growth and performs profit forecasting and budgeting. Works in coordination with other company business units, develops the strategic and tactical direction for the unit, establishing management processes and metrics for performance and is held accountable for financial and growth performance of the Freight Brokerage division. Supervises process improvement internally and in the company's arrangements with its customers, carriers, and channel marketing partners. Directs negotiation with customers and carrier partners including yearly agreements, customer specific pricing, and operations improvements.
