Clinical Team Leader - 6 Main/7 Main (Medical/Surgical) - Full Time - (Sayre, PA)

Main Function The Clinical Team Leader is a model of Professional Nursing Practice demonstrating clinical, leadership/development, and evidence-based practice skills. The Clinical Team Leader is a member of the nursing unit leadership team and supports the nurse manager in establishing standards in practice to achieve quality patient care outcomes. The Clinical Team Leader has the authority, responsibility, and Unit accountability for the delivery of nursing care through the use of the nursing process. The Clinical Team Leader under the guidance of the Nurse Manager assists with the development of staff members while continuing to be a strong partner in care. The Clinical Team Leader is responsible for providing unit-based education and clinical ability for staff including orientation and training, consultation on practice issues and general coordination of clinical activities.
