Responsibilities for this HR Assistant: -Answer incoming calls in the HR department -Assist with employment application intake. -Perform HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance. -Assist employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. -Assist with new-employee orientations. -Maintain confidential personnel files and personnel actions. -Prepare job postings. -Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status. -Assist the manager with HR projects.
