An Avionics/Systems Engineer executing the role of Sustaining Engineering Manager (SEM) within the B-2 Hardware Sustaining Engineering (HWSE) Integrated Product Team (IPT). The SEM is responsible for the engineering technical execution aspects of the IPT, which includes Engineering Task Assessments (ETAs), Engineering Investigations (EIs), Deficiency Reports (DRs), Engineering Studies, Engineering Quick Studies, Standard Repairs and Dispositions, Requests for Change Info (RCIs) and select Technical Inquiries (TIs). The SEM maintains oversight of B-2 hardware engineering issues, including evaluating all HWSE recurring and nonrecurring tasks to determine impacted functions (NG and Suppliers) and outline the scope of work at the beginning of a task, provide task guidance/technical leadership over the course of investigations and reviews final technical reports for quality, integration and accuracy in order to meet established performance metrics.
