Engineering Technologist 1 with Security Clearance - (King George, VA)

Business Line Government Job title Engineering Technologist one United States of America - Virginia Dahlgren Job overview Applicant will support inport and underway SQQ-89 operations and training including ASW Qualification, System Grooms and CSSQT. Applicant will also conduct PMS, train crew, support operational system checkout of SQQ-89 system onboard (inport and underway) and in a shore site environment. Min Requirements Min Requirements : * 6yrs of background with a min of 4 years operational background with SQQ-89 (ACB background wanted) Working technical knowledge of SQQ-89 and maintenance of sonar, TSP, SVTT and aux equipment * Training background (Instructor qualification preferred) * Expertise to support extensive travel (3 mons) in a calendar year * Expertise to maintain a Security Clearance * Background testing and maintaining tactical shipboard systems Preferred Requirements * Aegis (DDG/CG) CIC background with CADRT/DDRT plotting in support of USW, SUW, SAR, CBR and NSFS missions preferred.
