Requisition Number 17-0341 Post Date 1/3/2018 Title TAC Operator one City Bethlehem State PA Description Job overview: The TAC Agent is related to personnel that staff a Network Operations Center 24 Hrs a day, seven Days a week. The position necessitates the agent to monitor, Triage and, if necessary, escalate to resolve critical network outages across the entire RCN Network. Additionally, the TAC agent provides Tier III support to the Customer Service Department and Field Customer Service Technicians and Sub-Contractors within the company for both Commercial and Residential lines of Business. Principal Responsibilities: -- Monitor the network and troubleshoot network equipment elements, such as: circuit and packet switching, Frame Relay, T1, T3, SONET equipment, fiber multiplexers, optical equipment, routers and customer premise devices -- Work with Field Engineers and System Maintenance Technicians -- Be a point of contact for other Network Operations Centers --
