Job DescriptionFreedom Forever is hiring an experienced Solar Service Technician with extensive drywall and roofing knowledge. Solar Service Technicians are responsible for completing service calls as dispatched, troubleshooting solar panel systems and electrical. Must have a top-notch work ethic, good attendance, excellent communication and documenting skills. Solar Service Technician ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the preventative and corrective maintenance of Photovoltaic (PV) inverters, string boxes and solar panels and other componentsAssist in the commissioning of the solar array and monitoring systems during project installation when neededEnsure that PV systems are set up correctlyPerform re-roofs, roof repairs, drywall repairs as neededInstall hardware, PV modules, inverters and monitoring equipmentPerform commissioning of inverters and inspection of solar panelsMechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules and electrical equipmentRespond to corrective maintenance cases on PV inverters
