Job Summary: To provide our customers with accurate, friendly and efficient checkout service; to accurately scan, price and bag products; to collect proper payment; and to provide proper change if necessary. Essential Job Functions: The essential job functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Expertise to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language. Expertise to perform basic math skills. Expertise to make change with all denominations of American currency. Expertise to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift. Expertise to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 pounds., and occasionally lift 50 pounds. Expertise to work with a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or processed products, spices and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences. Expertise to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties. Expertise to work in varying temperatures.
