Paralegal / Legal AssistantThe applicant should preferably have 2-five years of background working in a law firm or similar legal environment. Must be familiar with litigation in federal and state courts, including the Rules of Civil Procedure and pre-trial litigation (interrogatories and/or requests for production of documents and/or deposition notices, etc.). Background with workers' compensation is preferred. Should feel comfortable working closely with attorneys to manage a sizeable and growing caseload. Proficiency in Microsoft word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat is necessary. Immediate or near-immediate availability is highly preferred.
