Actuarial Data Scientist II - (Erie, PA)

Job details Plans and manages predictive modeling, data analytics and data collection projects of moderate to high complexity, confidentiality, and impact on the business with moderate supervision. Applicants may be considered for Actuarial Data Scientist I or Senior Actuarial Data Scientist based on requirements. Duties and Responsibilities * Develops statistical models designed to enhance business decisions. Areas of focus will include: Claims, Customer Service, Marketing, Pricing, Sales & Agency, and Underwriting. * Possesses and applies fundamental predictive modeling concepts, practices, and procedures. Stays current with actuarial research and industry best practices and implements as needed. With moderate supervision, performs analysis for new P&C products and the development and enhancement of models designed to benefit all aspects of the organization. * Collaborates closely with other areas within and outside the division on the development and maintenance of actuarial models and specific studies.
