Job DescriptionPosition Overview: This position necessitates the sanitation of food processing equipment and production area to ensure the facility is in accordance with food safety practices. Work will consist of routine tasks requiring identification of problems and everyday decision-making. Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Cleans and sanitizes food processing equipment, floors, walls and related facilities in accordance with food safety practices· Required to sweep, mop and wash daily· Expertise to mix and use chemicals related to cleaning and sanitizing equipment· Required to disassemble and reassemble machines for cleaning purposes· Operate pressure washers, scrubbers and other janitorial type equipment· Frequently lift/move hoses, equipment and chemical containers· Perform a variety of tasks while standing, lifting, crouching for long periods of time· Exposed to cold, wet/water and freezer temperatures· Adhere to and understand CFarms HACCP processes
