Job DescriptionLocal Utilities Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the team!Temporary Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accesses and researches customer account details and navigates efficiently through Customer Details System. Creates and updates customer account details using Company’s Customer Info System, primarily through use of service orders. Handles cash payments accurately and efficiently Capably and appropriately operates Company’s meter reading system, retrieving and processing meter read files. Accepts payment for customer bills Responds to customer contacts in person, by telephone or via written communicationProcesses customer payments accurately, and prepares cashiers reports and deposits. Processes delinquent customer accounts. Provides accurate and timely details in response to customer inquiries, complaints and service requests. Performs other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements High-school certificate or equivalent.
