Human Resources Director - (Astoria, OR)

Summary Clatsop County is inviting applications for a Human Resources Director to plan, develop, and administer Human Resources programs including recruitment, selection, compensation, benefits, training, performance evaluation, personnel policies, equal employment opportunity, safety, and employee recognition. This position negotiates and/or serves on the negotiating team, facilitates negotiation planning, and administers and interprets collective bargaining agreements. Provides general management support to County Manager. Requires: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Public Administration, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Personnel/Human Resources Administration or a related position. Min of 5 (5) years of background in Human Resources management including 1 (1) year of administrative or supervisory responsibility; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and background.
