Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities:Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Visual Studio, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NETCreate and deliver data-driven reportsDesign, code and test new Windows and web software applicationsEnhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvementMaintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defectsInvestigate and develop skills in new technologiesCreate technical specifications and test plansConsult closely with management and occasionally agency staff related to projects and tasksConsult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systemsPosition Qualifications:2-5 yrs' background as a developer2-five years' background with ASP.NET/VB.NET2-5yrs working with SQL Server (2005 preferred)Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science
