Voip Network Engineer - (Charleston, SC)

This position performs telecommunications/network systems support, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and facility planning functions for in-house County telecommunications/network assets and projects. Duties include: implementing and servicing voice and data communication systems; assist in troubleshooting of local and wide area network; works closely with supervisor to ascertain the qualifications of the customer and proficiently applies economical telecommunications and network solutions; assist in in-house systems maintenance and wiring installation of County circuits; perform preventative maintenance on County telecommunications assets to maintain working systems consistent with available technology and user qualifications; responsible for programming, troubleshooting, software installation, network assessments and hardware installation and maintenance;
