Clinical Lab Svcs Technician - (Columbus, OH)

This position works in clinical laboratories of the Veterinary Medical Center; performs routine laboratory procedures in hematology, urinalysis, hemostasis, cytology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank, using laboratory instrumentation and established protocols; calibrates and maintains laboratory equipment, executes quality control program; maintains inventory of reagents and supplies; reports laboratory data to veterinary faculty, students and outside practitioners utilizing a laboratory info management system; prepares send-out samples for shipment to reference laboratories; performs other duties as requested; adjustable hours to be arranged including days, evenings, weekends and on-call; some overtime may be required.
