WVTM TV has an opening for a highlyskilled, ambitious,hardworking Associate Producer to work in ournewsroom. The qualified applicant will assistproducers in all aspects of producing a newscast. This will include writing stories, creatinggraphics, researching details and using video. Associate Producers also assist in makingphone calls to gather info about stories. In addition to writing for ourbroadcasts, our associate producers are also assigned to write/post storiesdaily to our web siteand social media sites. The perfect applicant will havestrong organizational, writing and tape editing skills. This is a wonderfulopportunity for someone looking to get his or her foot in the door and getstarted in a career in journalism. JobResponsibilities: Write copy for daily newscasts and edit videos. Assist producers and reporters with research.
