Frozen Production Supervisor - Nights - (Rochester, MN)

General scope and Function- Lead and coordinate the activities of the Production function to achieve company goals. Complete daily production qualifications in a cost effective manner which meets or exceeds good manufacturing practices and employee safety performance. Adequately train and instruct others within the department. Duties Direct and supervise all processes to produce products that meet specifications Direct and supervise the accurate completion of all departmental records. Lead and coordinate activities between departments to ensure that materials are delivered and stored safely. Encourage and promote teamwork, continous improvement, and properly train employees to complete their function in a safe and efficient manner. Develop/Execute daily production plan which effectively utilizes all materials. Make decisions regarding employee problems, equipment failure or malfunction and notify Manager of problems Assure safety of all employees and that all best practices are being followed.
