Job DescriptionPosition Summary: Responsible for purchasing trucks for TransChicago Truck Group inventory. Includes bidding, negotiation, buying and transportation coordination of vehicles in accordance with company metrics. Maintenance of current relationships and development of new avenues for medium and heavy duty truck procurement, including contract development and negotiating. Key functions & Responsibilities:· Purchasing of predetermined quantities of trucks· Purchase trucks using sound financial reasoning to maintain margins· Negotiate contracts for large volume purchases with favorable terms for TransChicago Truck Group· Build and maintain rapport with customers/suppliers· Responsible for selling wholesale truck inventory· Maintain sufficient inventory· Assign value to used truck trades· Arrange transportation with required vendors to various locations· Record and maintain required documentation for local
