Mechanical Engineer - (Glenview, IL)

GN ReSound is a leading international developer and manufacturer of advanced hearing aids. The company provides a full range of hearing instruments under the ReSound, Beltone and Interton brand names. We're looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and innovative mechanical engineer to join our product development team in Glenview, Illinois. Primary Function: Provide design, development, evaluation and maintenance of mechanical components, equipment, tooling and fixturing support for hearing instrument products. Objectives & Goals: Implementation of mechanical design and electro-mechanical packaging solutions in RIE, ITE and custom hearing instruments in order to meet overall performance objectives that fulfill patient and market needs. Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement and evaluate the mechanical and electro-mechanical packaging elements of new hearing aid designs. Evaluate the fit percentages of mechanical and electro-mechanical elements for potential use in hearing instrument designs.
