Job DescriptionPrimary responsibility involves design of heating, ventilating and air conditioned systems for buildings. Knowledge of plumbing and fire protection systems is secondary but valuable.Applicant shall have ten or more years of background with a consulting engineer or architect/engineer in the design of HVAC systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings.Licensure as a Professional Engineer or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) is mandatory with CT licensure a plus.Applicant must have an interest in leading on specific projects, both small and large, and be open to eventually managing/representing the entire engineering effort.Background with High Performance Building designs, including LEED and other sustainable design criteria, is essential.The expertise to produce construction documents in Autocad is mandatory and Revit background is highly desirable.Background with CT school projects, including School Construction Grant qualifications
