Description The City of Norfolk's Department of General Services, Parking Division is seeking a part time Parking Operations Supervisor. This position is being re-advertised Required functions Department Hiring Hourly Rate: $11.00 per hour Key functions include but are not limited to: Demonstrated expertise to effectively supervise direct reports and work in a team environment. Provide staff oversight and supervision and performs administrative duties. Assist with implementation of parking plans for city-wide events and festivals. Direct, verify, audit, deposit and report city revenue. Proven expertise to handle large sums of cash. Education/Background Level of knowledge equivalent to 4yrs of high-school or equivalency. 1 (1) year of supervisory background in customer service required. Additional Info & Qualifications Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Saturday 2:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. and/or 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Schedule is dependent upon events and hours vary.
