Certified Pharmacy Technician - (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Position Purpose This is a full time night shift position. Sun-Thur 11PM-7:30 AM. Accurately pull stock and fill Pyxis machines under the supervision of the pharmacist. Ensures pyxis stock rotation and medication outdates are accurate. Fills stat medication labels, obtains pharmacist verification, and ensures timely delivery. Aseptic technique is utilized in IV admixture preparation using appropriate needles, sets, and equipment. Functions requiring conversion or calculation are completed accurately and timely. Communicates with pharmacists and other associates to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
