Quality Specialist - (Pontiac, MI)

The Quality organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, solutions-oriented Quality Specialist to join the Quality team at FCA US Headquarters and Technology Center. Position duties include but are not limited to: Creates, implements and sustains vehicle control plans to prevent the outflow of defects to customers Performs root cause analysis of quality issues, often using advanced issue solving tools Recommends and implements simple cost-effective error/mistake proofing strategies Analyze quality data from internal and external indicators to ensure calibration Perform plant compliance verification & process reviews Conduct product evaluation tests to ensure robustness of product or process change before full implementation Work with Engineering and Suppliers to resolve issues that are not plant controllable Support manufacturing facilities with assessments and implementation methodology for compliance to requirements Serve as liaison between plants and engineering.
