Job Cost Clerk - (HR-0616) - (Winter Park, FL)

Summary: The Job Cost Clerk utilizes common concepts, practices, and procedures to control expenses by documenting a projects daily purchases and appropriately recording these expenses into our ERP system. The Job Cost Clerk plays an important role in the goal of properly tracking and controlling costs on multiple projects and will collaborate closely with Accounts Payable Clerks to ensure that invoices are coded correctly so that all expenses are adequately tracked. Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: Create and maintain daily logs for multiple projects (material purchases, trucking, etc.) Communicating with field personnel at all respective locations Provide accounting and clerical support to the District Cost Accountants Daily receiving of costs into our ERP system (JD Edwards) New purchase order setup and maintenance in JD Edwards Help ensure accurate payments to vendors subcontractors Help ensure costs are recorded correctly for accurate Job Cost Reports Prepare lien waivers and initiate
