Sr NPI Engineer - (Crawfordsville, IN)

Responsible for the specification, design, development and testing of electronic products. The primary function is the development and integration of new electronic technologies for lighting applications. These technologies include electronic HID ballasts, LED light engines, LED drivers/power supplies, surge suppression devices, and electronic controls for lighting systems. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Develops, tests and integrates LED light engines and LED drivers for new products. Current with new LED technologies including LEDs, drivers, and thermal management materials. Specifies and tests electronic HID ballasts for existing and new luminaires. Supports the product development group with the integration of electronic HID ballasts and controls for luminaires. Supports the development of transient suppression devices for use in outdoor electronic luminaires.
