Mechanical Process & Maintenance Technician - (Valley, AL)

SUMMARY OF POSITION Directs Shift Maintenance, Machine Chiefs and Operators for max productivity. Ensures that Plant process operates within parameters established by the Manager, Process Engineering, and that processes are optimized for best quality products and highest production efficiencies. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS Monitor work habits of the Maintenance Department. Machine Chiefs (Plant 3: Shelbyville, IN) and Operators in particular to ensure that they are performing in a safe manner. Communicate and model safe work habits to everyone in the plant Direct Maintenance staff, Machine Chiefs (P 3) and Operators on shift. Determine if machines need to be taken out of production for repairs or service Allocate maintenance resources on shift.
