Project Engineer - (El Paso, TX)

Job details The Project Engineer utilizes Andeavor's Project Management Process to facilitate the Project Team through the 5 project stages: Appraise, Select, Define, Execute, and Operate to deliver projects that meet their stated project objectives, with the highest regard to business acumen and professional ethics. The Project Engineer will typically manage multi-discipline projects and must be comfortable coordinating the engineering for all engineering disciplines and working broadly across all refinery function groups. However, projects with heavy process control or instrumentation qualifications may be directed to this Project Engineer. The Project Engineer will also serve a process control/instrumentation technical resource to other Project Engineers. Major Job Tasks Supports the development of the business case during the Appraise Stage. Supports documenting the project objectives and involves affected departments during project scoping to gather their input during the Select Stage.
