Technician II, Biomedical Equipment - (Durham, NC)

Position summary: Requirements Associates Degree and 2 years background in electronics, computer science, and mechanical or electromechanical repair required; or the equivalent combination of education and background or documented high-level performance as an American Red Cross Biomedical Equipment Tech I. Expertise to read color codes on wiring and electrical components. Expertise to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions. Expertise to establish and maintain working relationships with co-workers, biomedical and medical staff, and the general public. A basic knowledge of e-mail, database management, spreadsheet, and ms word processor applications. Expertise to work nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary. Expertise to keep neat and accurate records. Must be willing to be multi-task trained. A current drivers license with a good driving history. Expertise to take support call.
