Description The Dougherty County District Attorney's Office is hiring on a continuous basis for Assistant District Attorneys. Position : To Be Determined Essential Tasks Employee in this position is responsible for conducting prosecution in court proceedings on behalf of City, County, State and Federal governments. Reports to the District Attorney. Min Qualification Requires a Juris Doctorate Degree with membership in the Georgia Bar Association, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court within 1 (1) year of law school graduation. During that year, non-membership year, the employee must be eligible to practice under the 3rd Year Practice Act. Requires a min of 1 (1) additional year of law curriculum or 1 (1) year of relative background. Some trial background desired.
