Job overview Overall purpose of this position:Oversee the Outbound operation of the Distribution Center to assure efficient and accurate processing of outbound merchandise and movement of inventory achieving superior customer service and maximized sales. Major activities, which must be performed in order to carry out the purpose of the position as described above: Direct staff: select, hire, train, coach, develop and assure performance. Administer discipline and assure morale. Provide input for annual expense budget and manpower qualifications. Understand all functional areas of IRMS with ability in the outbound areas to problem solve, make decisions, expedite processes and provide coaching. Maintain effective, positive employee relations in the facility to enable the company to attract, retain and motivate highly qualified hourly and salaried employees. Assure compliance and consistently administer company policies and procedures.
