Hairdresser Part Time with SNF or Long Term Care Experience - (Harrisburg, PA)

Hairdresser needed part-time for Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing Skilled Nursing FAciity 16 hours per week/ two days per week Job assignments: Provides hair care services to both female and male residents to include but limited to shampoo, cut, color, set, permanents, etc. Adheres to all sanitary rules as outlined by the State Board of Cosmetology. Ensures neatness and cleanliness of salon Maintains adequate supply of products on an ongoing basis Sterilizes all equipment Necessary experience: Min (2) years background as a hairdresser preferably in a longterm care setting. Education: Licensed Hairdresser in the State of Pennsylvania. Specific Qualifications: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must be able to communicate effectively Must possess the expertise to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
