Come Work at HJF The Henry M. Jackson Foundation is seeking a Nurse Clinical Research Coordinator III to support the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Program in Fort Benning, GA. Responsibilities are to support clinical research protocols and to mentor junior staff. The Clinical Research Coordinator will be supervised by either the Clinical Site Manager or designee at the site. ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 85% of time Interviews patients for protocols and collects and analyzes appropriate data for recruitment purposes, determine patient commitment and obtains informed consent. Reviews new patient records and screens patients for eligibility for participating in research protocol. Educates patients about the research protocol, their roles in the protocols, and any other vital info and acts as a research case manager for the patients where appropriate. Identifies problems in the research design or analysis methodology.
