Scientist/Sr Scientist Myeloid Biology - (San Francisco, CA)

Pionyr Immunotherapeutics is a growing San Francisco-based immuno-oncology company focused on novel approaches to generate anti-tumor immunity. Pionyr is seeking a highly motivated and committed Immunologist with ability in myeloid biology. The successful applicant will be responsible for evaluating and validating novel immunotherapy targets. The individual recruited to this position is expected to actively develop and apply new concepts as appropriate to continuously improve internal capabilities. S/he will design and perform in vitro and ex vivo experiments to determine the functional consequences of target modulation by employing a variety of cellular, molecular, and functional immune assays. There will be opportunities to be involved in leading external collaboration with academic and industry partners. This will primarily be a lab-based scientist position.
