Quality Engineer - 2nd Shift - (Allentown, PA)

Summary: Perform process audits throughout internal plant assembly to monitor current procedures as well as incoming products from critical suppliers (LPP, VPT, etc.) Verify assembly adherence to documented Engineering releases Develop, recommend, implement and monitor quality plans, programs and policies, thereby ensuring conformance to qualifications of product, activities and service Monitor all "in-process" methods and manufacturing systems, processes and applicable procedures to ensure the production of quality parts in accordance with customer quality qualifications Core Responsibilities: Gather info regarding key assembly area procedures Determine Engineering approved releases, best practices, tooling required, etc. Expertise to perform plant process audits to monitor and document assembly practices, incoming supplier quality, etc.
