Job DescriptionThe Safety Coordinator’s foremost role is to protect company property and to keep its employees safe. They manage activities designed to reduce the risk of accidents and decrease safety-related costs. There are five main areas of responsibility that the Safety Coordinator directly executes and manages: 1. Policy Development, 2. Accident Investigation, 3. Safety Training, 4. Safety Inspections, 5. Documentation.Duties and assignments include, but are not limited to:· Prepares written safety and health programs and policies.· Identifies company safety training needs and develops and coordinates safety training programs.· Provides cyclical training to field and management i.e.: 1st Aid / CPR· Develops annual company safety and health goals.· Maintains corporate safety library (e.g., videos, regulations, reference manuals).· Promotes safety and health awareness through internal company memoranda
