Job DescriptionProfessional, innovative early childhood education program in Drexel Hill is looking for energetic, enthusiastic, experienced assistant teacher for immediate placement.8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, year-round.REQUIREMENT: HS Diploma Min of 2 years background working with children. CDA Credential or College diploma in Early Childhood Education is preferred.POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Lead Teacher is responsible for the care and education of a group of children and functions as a team player. The Lead Teacher plans and implements curriculum and, with active participation of other members of the teaching team, communicates with parents and meets the needs of individual children. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: To maintain a safe, orderly, and healthy environment from opening to closing time each day. To facilitate the advancement of children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development. To maintain positive and productive relationships with families and coworkers.
